The neo classical styling allowed the building to sit into the sloping contour of the Clendon Road site

This project was a four level apartment building over a large extensive car parking basement and store rooms. The neo classical styling allowed the building to sit into the sloping contour of the Clendon Road site. The building with a central stair was serviced with a lift from the basement to individual lift lobbies.

The styling consisted of a totally rendered solid brick building featuring stepped elevations of terraces and balconies with solid concrete mouldings creating a softness to the overall building. Apartments ranged between 30 squares with rooftop terracing to larger apartments up to 45 squares.

The internal spaces had solid plastered walls, and, floors were mainly parquetry and stone. Stone benching was featured throughout the kitchens, ensuites, powder-rooms and laundries. Miele appliances set in timber and painted kitchens created modern, comfortable and convenient living within the formal surrounds.
